INDIANAPOLIS — Three more Colts head coaching candidates have reportedly made it to the second round of interviews in Indianapolis.

The Colts are bringing back Packers special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, according to the NFL Network, Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen, according to ESPN and Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, according to Sports Illustrated.

Indianapolis initially wanted to bring back seven of the original 14 candidates.

If that remains the case, the Colts’ list is now complete, considering potential candidate DeMeco Ryans is widely expected to be named the Houston Texans' coach soon, cutting the list of open jobs to three. Interim coach Jeff Saturday interviewed Wednesday, Denver defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero interviewed Thursday, Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris interviewed Friday and Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale interviewed on Saturday.

Both Evero and Morris reportedly had marathon interviews that carried throughout the entire day.

Bisaccia, Steichen and Callahan each have something unique to offer.

Bisaccia has the most recent head coaching experience of the candidates remaining after directing Las Vegas to a 7-5 record and a playoff berth as the interim in 2021, and Steichen is the only offensive coordinator on the list so far.

Fixing an offense that was one of the NFL’s worst last season will be the chief priority for any coach the Colts hire, and Steichen has made his name by designing and calling an Eagles offense that plays to the strengths of Jalen Hurts and has taken Philadelphia to the Super Bowl.

Unlike Steichen, Callahan does not call the plays in Cincinnati, but he's widely respected for his work with quarterbacks like Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, Derek Carr and Joe Burrow, particularly his ability to find weaknesses in defenses.

Callahan is reportedly set to interview on Wednesday. Bisaccia reportedly interviewed Monday, and although the date for Steichen's interview hasn't been set, the Colts are expected to travel to Philadelphia for the meeting, rather than bringing him to Indianapolis like several other candidates.
