Shannen Doherty files for divorce from Kurt Iswarienko, husband of 11 years

Actress Shannen Doherty is being supported by fellow female star pals including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Roma Downey after filing for divorce from her husband of 11 years, Kurt Iswarienko.

“The only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness and total respect,” Doherty, a “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star, wrote in an Instagram post Friday after filing to dissolve her marriage.

“I guess you will be in my life forever then,” commented close friend Gellar.

“We love you Shannen,” chimed in actress and producer Roma Downey, of “Touched by an Angel” fame, signing off with a red heart emoji.

Doherty did not want things to end this way with Iswarienko, who she has credited in the past with incredible support as she lives with stage-four breast cancer.

“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” publicist Leslie Sloane said in a statement Saturday. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”

“My husband says that you would never know that I have cancer,” Doherty said at a “Charmed” reunion last month, according to People. “I never really complain. I don’t really talk about it. It’s part of life at this point.”

Sloane also implied that Iswarienko’s agent, Collier Grimm, had more information about what led to the divorce. Grimm did not comment Sunday.

Doherty has been married twice before — to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994, and from 2002 to 2003 to Rick Salomon.

There was no prenup for her third marriage, and she is asking for spousal support, according to TMZ, which first reported her divorce filing. She wants to make sure Iswarienko is not awarded spousal support from her, according to the outlet.
