Shapeshifter, mind control, teleport are superpowers on Ashland kids' minds

The Kids Page is a compilation of responses written by kindergarten through eighth-grade students from area schools. Students are asked a different question each month and answers are printed weekly.

This month’s question: If you could have any superpower which one would you choose? How would you use your superpower?

If I could choose a superpower, I would most likely choose invisibility. I would choose invisibility so nobody could know if I was asleep so they wouldn’t wake me up. I would also choose invisibility so nobody bothers me while I read my favorite books. And the final reason I would choose invisibility is so I could avoid talking to people I don’t want to talk to.

If I had a superpower I would teleport everywhere. One reason is I could be there in a minute. Second reason is if an emergency happened I could be there quick. Third reason is I don’t have to drive so far.

If I had to pick a superpower I would pick the power to fly. The reason I would want to fly is because I could skip the bus. Another reason I want to fly is to get good at pictures with a camera. Also I would love to fly because when I get to play hide and seek Ic an hide on the roof. The last reason I would love to fly is so I can pretend to be Superman. Those are some reasons why I would love to fly.

If I had shape shifting superpowers I will be able to turn into everything I want. I am going to become a spinosarus and be my favortie animal lizards! I will be a giraffe to see up high in the air and I will be happy when I turn into a raptor and a T-Rex that is what I will do if I had shape shifting superpowers.

If I could have any superpower it would be controlling the weather. I would make it cold sometimes so we can’t wear shorts. If I could control the weather I would make it snow. I would make it snow to have lots of snow days. I would also have fun playing in the snow if I could control the weather. This is what I would do if I had the superpower of controlling the weather.

If I could have any superpower it would be mind reading. See what people are saying about me. If people were talking about someone behind their back I could tell them. I would also want to just see what people are saying because I want to know. I could also try to jinx someone. I will know the answer to something because I will read the teachers mind. Those are some things I would do if I could read minds.

If I could have any superpower I would have to go with mind control. I would chose mind control because there is so many things I could do. Here are some of them. First, I make the teacher give me the test answers. The second thing is I would make my mom give me money to give it to homeless people. Also, I would make people give me food to give to the homeless. Last I would make people give me toys to give to people in need. That is some of the things I would do.

I really want to be a shape shifter so this is what I would do. I would turn into a bat and fly away when I break my mom’s favorite coffee mug. I can turn into a cat so when I fall I have eight lives left. I can turn into a rich person so I can buy my family birthday presents. I can turn into a capybara because they have very calm mind and my mind is crazy. I can turn into a horse so I can run in the wind like Spirit. I can turn into a baby longhorn cow so I can wake up humans in the morning. That’s what I’d do if I could shape shift.

If I had a superpower this is what I would have. If I had a power it would be talking to animals. I would talk to my cat Nilla so we can have conversations with each other. I could ask for help if I need. I also would talk to animals because I love animals. The last reason I would like to talk to animals is I would start a community of animals! That is why I would talk to animals.
