JOSH SHAPIRO: Will of the people is going to be respected in the final, certified vote total. We're going through the process of dealing with the various lawsuits that have been filed while the counties continue to finish their counts. And I'm confident that very soon here we will have a final result.

I've seen no evidence of any kind of widespread voter fraud. Certainly, if there was some, we would be on it immediately, or our law enforcement partners would be on it immediately. I've seen a lot of tweets about it. I've seen a lot of public statements about it. But we've seen absolutely no evidence of it.

And in fact, neither have the lawyers representing either the Republican Party or Donald Trump's campaign. As they've indicated in court and in their filings several times, they have no evidence of any type of widespread voter fraud.

I think in order to have a smoother counting process, we should give Pennsylvania's 67 counties the opportunity to begin processing those ballots before election day. There are examples of other states that do this really effectively. Florida and North Carolina come to mind.

Here in Pennsylvania, we began a process that other states were working on for weeks in advance. We began that process at 7:00 o'clock in the morning. And that put a really unfair and significant burden on the local county.
