Shaquille O'Neal's Orlando, Florida mansion is back on the market! As the Orlando Business Journal reported back in February, a deal to sell the property fell through. Now, under a new agent, Benjamin Hillman of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, the 31,000 square-foot mansion has received a price cut and a few edits to its interiors.

The 12-bedroom-home, located at 9927 Giffin Court, which has been on and off the market for years, is currently listed for $16.5 million. This is $3 million less than the asking price last year. It's also over $10 million less than its $28 million asking price in 2018. But besides dialing back on the price, Hillman came up with a new sales strategy: remove Shaq from the home.

In an interview with Realtor.com, he explained the changes he made to the home before listing it. "I’ve watched this house over three years, and they all went down the same road of Shaq, Shaq, Shaq,” Hillman told the outlet regarding past agents. "But I want to take him out of the picture. I requested all the Shaq items that could be moved, be moved," he said. In particular, his strategy is to “highlight the amenities, the location, the lakefront, so I can educate a new buyer, who doesn’t just want to buy Shaq’s house—but wants to buy a nice house in an exclusive community."

Shaq who purchased the home in 1993, had the "S" monogram featured in several different areas, including in the main bedroom. Other memorabilia that honored his all-star career was also incorporated into the house.

After removing these items, Hillman continued making stylistic changes. Light fixtures were changed, walls were repainted, 11 rooms were re-staged, and some furniture was swapped out for newer pieces.

He told Realtor.com he's already received offers. "It’s hot," he said regarding the level of interest. The domain for livelikeshaq.com, where the former listing lived, has been taken down; however, you can check out the new listing here to see more photos of the new 9927 Giffin Court.
