Sharks Spotted in Shallows at Florida Beach

A beachgoer in Neptune Beach, Florida, screamed at swimmers to “Get out of the water” as at least two sharks were spotted swimming at the shore on Saturday, July 30.

Footage recorded by @karaskoniecnzy shows two sets of fins moving back and forth in the water.

“There was a little excitement this weekend. I caught a glimpse of a few sharks feeding on baitfish close to shore,” Kara Skonieczny said.

Local media reported that the sighting at Neptune Beach came on the same day as a reported shark attack at another Jacksonville-area beach. Credit: Kara Skonieczny via Storyful
