Shawn Mendes Gazed Adoringly at Lizzo on the Brit Awards 2019 Red Carpet

We all know that practically everyone loves Lizzo. But at the 2019 Brit Awards, it was revealed that another music icon is also pretty enamored with the "Juice" singer: none other than recent Calvin Klein model Shawn Mendes.

In a short video that Lizzo posted to both Twitter and Instagram, she's busy answering some questions while on the red carpet. In the background, it looks like the "In My Blood" musician is stealing more than just a couple glances over at Lizzo. It appears that Lizzo didn't notice Shawn looking over while in the moment, but thankfully, someone captured the video and passed it along to her for our sharing pleasure. She captioned the clip writing, "Get you a man that looks at you the way @ShawnMendes looks at me doing press @BRITs 💁🏾‍♀️." Meanwhile, in her Instagram Story, Lizzo switched it up a little. She wrote, "@shawnmendes loves me. That's PERIOD. NO QUESTIONS B*TCH."

Unfortunately, the video doesn't have any audio so we can only imagine what Lizzo was talking about. As for what was coursing through Shawn's head, that remains to be seen since he hasn't responded to her posts yet. Lizzo's "Juice" lyrics feel particularly on point for this moment — queue the "Mirror, mirror on the wall / Don't say it, ’cause I know I'm cute (Ooh, baby)."

And plenty of fans are also loving the moment. One person replied on Twitter, "Shawn has taste." Another one wrote, "Gurl you better had gone over and made his dreams come true! He was looking at you like you were his next snack."

We're hoping that we get Shawn's reaction to the whole situation soon. Whatever pans out, maybe we can at least hope for a collab between the two artists?
