Sep. 12—SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Chief Robert A. Kohli reports the Shawnee Township Police Department recently received a donation of just over $2,500 from the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370.

The funds will be utilized to help to outfit a front-line cruiser with a new mobile radio for the department, Kohli said.

"These radios are expensive and our partnerships with the Fraternal Order of Eagles helps offset the difficulties for our agency. I want to personally thank the FOE for their generous contribution to our department and community," the chief said.
