Shay Mitchell gave birth to her baby girl, and the first photo is adorable

Oh, baby, baby! Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel‘s little one has finally arrived, and the first photo Mitchell shared of her baby girl is absolutely adorable.

Mitchell gave birth to her first child on Sunday, October 20th, and announced her arrival later that same day. The couple knew they were having a girl after watching the Blue and Pink Power Rangers battle at a gender-reveal party in which the Pink Power Ranger came out victorious.

Mitchell posted a photo showing her daughter’s teeny hand grasped around her pointer finger.

The Pretty Little Liars star captioned the post “Never letting go….” Babel commented on the post with a simple heart emoji.

Mitchell waited six months before alerting her fans and followers that she was pregnant. Prior to this pregnancy, Mitchell suffered a miscarriage in 2018 after 14 weeks. Therefore, as she expressed in the first episode of her YouTube series “Almost Ready,” she wanted to be sure everything was alright before word spread.

Babel also Instagrammed the announcement. “The strength, vulnerability and grace you’ve had during this pregnancy has left me in awe, you’re going to be an incredible mom…We’re lucky to have you, love you,” he wrote in his June post.

We’re so excited that Mitchell and Babel are officially parents, and we can’t wait to meet baby—and find out what the couple decided to name her—when the time is right.
