Shay Mitchell Lost One of Her Teeth While Eating a Bagel Sandwich
Who knew bagels could be so dangerous?
Shay Mitchell didn’t, apparently. The 32-year-old actress shared a video taken at the dentist’s office to her Instagram story earlier this week, showing off a missing tooth and blaming it on a bagel sandwich she had eaten that day.
“This is what happens when you eat a bagel sandwich,” the Pretty Little Liars star said in the video. “Your tooth comes out.”
She continued, laughing, “This is what I get for eating two bagel sandwiches! Dammit.”
Mitchell didn’t provide many details about how her tooth broke, but she did thank her dentist for taking care of the issue.

“Thank goodness for @drkevinsands for fixing me so quick!!!” she wrote on her Instagram Story, adding a sticker that said “SMH.”

Mitchell seemed recovered by the end of the day. That night, she posted an Instagram story video as she watched the Beyoncé Netflix documentary Homecoming and sang along to the pop star’s performance.
She was also back in good spirits on Thursday, posting an Instagram video of herself going on a hike.

No word yet on exactly how Mitchell’s tooth managed to break while eating the bagel sandwich.
