Shea Arnold and Shawn Rocket had 19.90 pounds and also big bass with a 7-pounder to win the Thursday Night Open Series tournament July 28 on the Winter Haven North Chain. Cody Glass and Colton Drawdy took second place with 19.78 pounds. Clayton Walls and Greg Walls placed third with 15.05 pounds.

Andrew Ready and Chris Ready had 16 pounds to win the Country Boys Fishing LLC “Monday Nighter” tournament Aug. 1 on Lake Rochelle. Bobby Ford and Mike Tucker took second place with 14.50 pounds. Danny Duncan and Ryan Brett placed third with 14.45 pounds. Rick Combee had big bass with a 6.70 pounder.

The next Thursday Night Open Series tournament is Aug. 4 on Lake Alfred. Time is from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sign-ups are at the ramp only and will be cut off at 5:50 p.m. Entry fee is $30 per boat, no more than two people per boat. For more info, contact Rick Combee at 863-860-3916.

The next Winter Haven Lunker Lovers’ tournament is Aug. 7 on the Kissimmee Chain out of Grape Hammock Fish Camp. The draw meeting will be held August 2 at Beef O’Brady’s in Winter Haven. The Camp Mack Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort 2022 Bonfire Tournament Series continues with the Tickled Pink Playoff on Sept. 24. at Lake Kissimmee. This is the third of three, one day tournaments to be held throughout the year and will conclude with the two-day Bonfire Shootout tournament in November.
