SHEBOYGAN - For those who aren't interested in cooking large meals for the family, or who just want something hot and ready, these locations will be open and offering special dishes on Thanksgiving Day.

Arrosto Delicatessen

This upscale deli restaurant, at 1418 N. 13th St. in Sheboygan, has printed a holiday menu on its website filled with Thanksgiving meals and desserts.

All menu items are available for pre-order one week in advance. Meals are to be heated and served, with heating instructions provided.

Holiday meats range from $40 to $75 and include herb-roasted turkey breast with gravy, heritage ham with fig and rosemary glaze, and an option between a half or whole porchetta roast with gremolata.

They will also be offering house-made focaccia, including gluten-free options, ranging from $20 to $60, with basil pesto for dipping.

Sides include whipped sweet potatoes, roasted green beans and porchetta stuffing.

Dessert offered is a mini or large cannoli platter, Italian cheesecake and tiramisu.

A meal package is offered for $120 that serves eight to 12 people and includes a main meat, focaccia, a choice of a side and dessert.

Kamandas

The Sheboygan Falls bar and restaurant will be open during its regular hours on Thanksgiving Day.

At 416 Broadway St., the bar will be open from noon to 2:30 a.m.

For customers who stop in and purchase drinks, a complimentary Thanksgiving feast will be provided.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, and many other dishes will be served.

Customers are encouraged to stop by and enjoy a dinner and drinks.

Sheboygan Town & Country Golf Course

The country club, at W1943 County J, will host a Thanksgiving breakfast and dinner buffet in the restaurant portion of the club.

The buffet will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The cost for one adult is $22.99 and $10.99 for kids ages 4-10.

The breakfast buffet will be available from open until close. It will include meals such as made-to-order omelets, French toast, sausage, bacon and breakfast potatoes.

The dinner buffet will include a harvest fall salad, butternut squash soup, roast turkey with homemade gravy, broasted chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, vegetable blend, cranberry sauce and more.

Dessert includes pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple and cherry cobblers, Oreo torte and more.

Reservations are required and must be called in before Nov. 23.

VFW Post 9156

At 552 S. Evans St., this veteran memorial post will be offering dine in or carry-out meals on Thanksgiving Day.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the kitchen will be serving dinners for those who make a reservation.

The meal will be $17 for those who dine in and $18.50 for those who carry out.

Meals include turkey with gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll and dessert.

Reservations must be called in before Nov. 21.
