This story has been updated to reflect that James Haasch, after initially withdrawing from the race, returned to the race for Sheboygan County Circuit Court Branch 2 Judge.

SHEBOYGAN - Heidi Boehmer, Julie Kelly, Kay Robbins, David Ross, Sarah Ruiz-Harrison and Haley Stuckmann will advance to the general election to compete for three seats on the nine-person Sheboygan School Board. Tuesday's primary eliminated Lawrence Adams.

About 6,700 people in Sheboygan voted in the primary and about 20,100 people voted county-wide.

Sheboygan School Board unofficial primary results

  • David Ross: 3,798 votes

  • Julie Kelly: 3,693 votes

  • Sarah Ruiz-Harrison: 3,637 votes

  • Kay Robbins: 3,589 votes

  • Haley Stuckmann: 3,455 votes

  • Heidi Boehmer: 3,202 votes

  • Lawrence Adams: 1,941 votes

Sheboygan County voters help propel liberal candidate for state Supreme Court to general election

Liberal candidate Janet Protasiewicz and conservative candidate Daniel Kelly will face off in the general election for a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat. Here's how Sheboygan County voters cast their ballots:

  • Janet C. Protasiewicz: 7,199 votes

  • Jennifer R. Dorow: 6,290 votes

  • Daniel Kelly: 5,725 votes

  • Everett D. Mitchell: 775 votes

  • District 1: Incumbent Barb Felde and challenger Aaron Guenther

  • District 3: Incumbent Amanda Salazar and challenger Paul Bolgert

  • District 5: Incumbent Angela Ramey and challenger Mark Kooistra

  • District 7: Incumbent Grazia Perrella and challenger Paul Hankins

  • District 9: Incumbent Trey Mitchell and challenger Julie Konik

Plymouth City Council (two-year term)

  • District 2: Incumbent John Nelson and challenger Carole O'Malley

Sheboygan Falls School Board (three-year term)

  • Board members (2): Incumbents Vicky Bramstedt and Michele Meerdink and challengers Gary Thelen and Robyn Denning
