Shed burns in Polk County, near Mentor, Minnesota

Oct. 4—MENTOR, Minn. — Emergency personnel were dispatched to a shed fire Monday afternoon near Mentor.

According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the fire started shortly after 3 p.m. at 17307 320th Street SE. Mentor Fire Department, Erskine Fire Department and Polk County EMS also responded.

The fire destroyed a detached storage shed. According to the release, the owners reported they were burning weeds earlier and the weeds possibly reignited.
