CENTER TWP. – A potential Sheetz project was presented Monday to township supervisors.

Joshua Haydo said developers for the proposed Sheetz would like to place it on Brodhead, Route 18, near the Beaver Valley Mall.

Specifically, it would be located halfway between the interchange and the still-under-construction GetGo.

Haydo is a senior staff traffic engineer for Pittsburgh-based David E. Wooster and Associates, Inc., a firm working with the developers.

He said they would like the support of the board to move the project forward, as they work with PennDOT to get traffic and road approvals, such as putting a new traffic light near the planned location.

Sheetz already has three locations in Beaver County, Rochester, Baden and Beaver Falls. There are also stores in Moon and Cranberry townships and the New Castle area.
