Shelby's Schwemley, Mansfield Senior's Bradley earn special mention All-Ohio honors in Division II
COLUMBUS — All-Ohio honors are coming home to Mansfield Senior and Shelby.
Shelby sophomore Eve Schwemley and Mansfield Senior junior Kiersten Bradley earned special mention All-Ohio honors in Division II as voted upon by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.
Bradley scored 12.5 points per game and added 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists for the Ohio Cardinal Conference champion Tygers. It was the first OCC title in program history and first league title in 20 years.
Schwemley, meanwhile, contributed 11.5 points, five rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as a sophomore to help the Whippets keep the dynasty going with their fifth consecutive Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference championship.
It is the first All-Ohio honor for both Bradley and Schwemley.
