Sheriff’s office provide space heaters for Richmond County seniors

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Staff members with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office help keep community members warm this week.

As part of “Operation Stay Warm,” the sheriff’s office employees delivered space heaters to the Dobbins Heights Town Hall to be distributed to their local senior citizens in need of a heating source.

The heaters are part of a program started by Sheriff Mark Gulledge and staff to ensure senior citizens are able to stay warm during the winter months.
