Sherriff asks for help identifying photos in Joshua Guimond cold case

Police are still investigating the disappearance of a former St. John's University student who went missing after attending a get-together in a Collegeville dorm in November 2002.

Joshua Guimond was 20 at the time of his disappearance from the St. John's University campus. On Nov. 9, 2002, he attended a party with friends at the Metten Court dorms. He left the dorm room he was in at 11:45 p.m. that night, but according to law enforcement, his friends didn't know where he went and Guimond has not been seen since.

Originally from Maple Lake, Guimond was a junior at St. John's University when he disappeared. He led the campus mock trial team and wanted to be a lawyer. At the time, he was 6 feet tall, 176 pounds and had blonde hair, according to information provided by the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

Newly-released photos found on Guimond's computer after his disappearance show several people who still haven't been identified and who may, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, be able to provide information about his disappearance.

Anyone with information about Guimond's disappearance or current whereabouts or about the people in the images on his computer are asked to contact Investigator Struffert with the Stearns County Sheriff's Office 320-259-3700 or submit a tip through the Stearns County Sheriff's Office website.
