Shift's Essential Workers Program will provide special discounts on vehicles for certain essential workers including medical professionals, utilities operators and grocery store staff in need of personal transportation.

In addition to that program, Shift has introduced the Community Pricing Initiative to temporarily lower prices on a broad range of inventory to help the larger community which has been affected by this crisis afford reliable and safe transportation.

"We appreciate the efforts of frontline and essential workers who bravely continue to serve our communities day in and day out," said Toby Russell, Co-CEO of Shift. "And, we recognize that most everyone has been adversely affected. We are doing all we can to provide those in need of safe transportation with affordable options in a safe, no-contact way."

As an ecommerce business, Shift will continue to offer no-contact test drives, no-contact seller evaluations, as well as direct online purchasing options. We will additionally waive all shipping fees for vehicles purchased online. All of these services will continue to be delivered to the customer's home and will follow antimicrobial disinfecting procedures in accordance with public health guidance.
