Shining stars: LaVille's Paul DeWitt voted best playoff performance from Friday

1. Paul DeWitt, LaVille
Junior running back | 1,166 votes (30.3%)
DeWitt rushed for 140 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns with the help of tackles Collin Allen and Erik Bedock, guards Garrett Wagoner and AJ Bedock and center Hudson Doyle in the Lancers' 41-0 win over Pioneer
2. Greg Atkinson, Marian
Senior wide receiver | 1.154 votes (30%)
The explosive wide receiver showed the Knight's offensive balance against the Jimmies, catching five passes for 111 yards. He hauled in touchdown catches of 29 and 44 yards.
3. Marshall Kmiecik, New Prairie
Sophomore quarterback | 1,028 votes (26.7%)
Kmiecik led the Cougars' rushing attack in a 35-3 win over Saint Joseph, carrying 17 times for 139 yards with touchdown runs of 40, 9 and 3 yards.
4. Kapafule Lusanga, Marian
Senior running back | 405 votes (10.5%)
Another big game for Lusanga who rushed 23 times for 142 yards and four touchdowns (4, 1, 25 and 9), in a 40-7 3A sectional title win over Jimtown
5. Alec Hardrict, Penn
Senior running back | 87 votes (2.3%)
Hardrict turned a screen pass into a 93-yard touchdown and rushed for a game-high 78 yards on 18 carries during the Kingsmen's 10-7 Class 6A sectional championship win over Chesterton.
6. Logan McColley, Edwardsburg
Senior running back | 29 votes (0.8%)
McColley had a big night for Edwardsburg, rushing for 141 yards on eight carries, including touchdown runs of 53 and 5 yards in a 50-0 drubbing of Three Rivers. He also caught a 57-yard scoring pass from Jacob Pegura.
