Shonda Rhimes's Netflix show The Residence casts Ant-Man star Randall Park

The Residence, the anticipated new Netflix series from Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes, has brought in more impressive names to its cast.
We already know that the murder mystery will be led by Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba as an eccentric detective called Cordelia Cupp.
It is now been reported by Deadline that Ant-Man's Randall Park has joined the series as a regular, taking on the role of FBI special agent Edwin Park, while Chicago PD's Spencer Garrett will recur as FBI director Wally Glick.

The show comes from Paul William Davies, and is based on The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Andersen Brower.
Aduba's central character is a consulting detective for the Metropolitan Police Department, described as "an astute observer of human behavior, with a distinctive and – to some, unsettling – conversational style".
The storyline follows a murder at the White House, the synopsis reading: “One dead body. One wildly eccentric detective. One disastrous State Dinner.

"The Residence is a screwball whodunnit set in the upstairs, downstairs, and backstairs of the White House, among the eclectic staff of the world’s most famous mansion."
As well as the aforementioned stars, the show is also set to star Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andre Braugher, This Is Us's Susan Kelechi Watson, My Name Is Earl's Jason Lee, Party Down's Ken Marino and The Wire's Edwina Findley.
Servant's Molly Griggs, Stranger Things' Al Mitchell, American Vandal's Dan Perrault, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Bronson Pinchot, Your Honor's Isiah Whitlock Jr and Star Trek: Discovery's Mary Wiseman are also on board.
The Residence will stream on Netflix.
