Shoolika Mk6 – Ukraine’s new EW-resistant, night-capable strike drone

Ukrainian developers at SkyLab UA have created a new combat drone Shoolika Mk6, Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced via Telegram on Feb. 5.

According to the minister, the UAV is effective during nighttime and has already been tested by the Ukrainian military.

Fedorov stated that Shoolika can deliver precise strikes and is equipped with "top-tier night vision systems." The drone can operate at a distance of up to 10 kilometers (about 6 miles), carry a payload of up to 6 kilograms (approximately 13 pounds), and features a high-precision guidance system. Finally, the new drone is resilient against electronic warfare (EW) interference.

"The defense forces have already tested Shoolika mk6 and provided their feedback: the drone is crucial for tactical operations, especially at night," said Fedorov.

The UAV is currently undergoing NATO codification. The developers plan to improve the onboard AI system to improve target acquisition and tracking ahead of serial production.
