Shooting leaves 1 dead, 3 injured in Phoenix Friday

One person died and three others were injured after a shooting Friday night in Phoenix, police said.

Officers and Phoenix Fire personnel responded to calls of a shooting near 24th Street and Southern Avenue at about 7 p.m. Friday, according to a police statement. Upon arrival, officers found 19-year-old Ty’Lee Marshall with a gunshot wound.

Marshall was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Officers were later led to a nearby home where an injured second man was found and provided medical assistance. He was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. A third man left the scene before officers arrived, but was later found with life-threatening injuries at a hospital.

A woman called 911 during the investigation asking for medical help for a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one involved in the shooting has been identified by police.
