Parachute is known for creating high-quality bedding and bath items, but one bedding set in particular is making a huge difference beyond your home. For every purchase of the Venice Bedding Set, the brand donates a life-saving malaria bed net to children in need.

The Percale Venice Set is made of 100 percent long-staple Egyptian cotton that is lightweight and stays cool, so it's great for hot sleepers. The set comes with a fitted sheet, pillowcase set and duvet cover starting at $239, and comes in a variety of neutral colors, including white, sand, light grey, slate and blush. If you're not a fan of percale, the Venice Set also comes in sateen, washed sateen, linen and brushed cotton.

On Parachute's website, the set has nearly five stars with plenty of positive reviews.

'My husband and I are absolutely in LOVE with our new set, it was worth every penny. This was our first time ordering from Parachute and we couldn't be more satisfied," one reviewer wrote.

"After 2.5 years, 2 kids, 1 dog, hot summers, wet winters, 1 lice infestation, dozens of washing/drying the seams and edges have held up beautifully. There are no holes, frayed ends or loose threads. They just work and they look damn beautiful doing it," another reviewer said.

For every purchase of the Venice set, Parachute donates a net through Nothing But Nets, a global grassroots campaign created by the United Nations Foundation to prevent malaria. According to the campaign, malaria is a leading killer of children in sub-Saharan Africa, taking the life of a child every two minutes.

Malaria is transmitted to humans through the bites of Anopheles mosquitoes, which carry the life-threatening disease by the blood parasite Plasmodium and mainly bite at night. In 2019, there were 219 million cases of malaria worldwide, which resulted in 435,000 deaths. And, within the African region, nearly 300 million people still lack access to insecticide-treated bed nets.

Parachute also invites its customers to donate $10 directly to Nothing But Nets, whether they're purchasing a Venice bedding set or not. According to Nothing But Nets, as of July 2019, Parachute donated over $300,00, resulting in 30,000 insecticide-treated bed nets to families in Sub-Saharan African and Latin American in malaria-affection regions.
