Whether you like to dress up, dress down or just stay cool, Carielle’s Closet at 9 N. K St. spans the spectrum from trendy to high-end and classic consignment. Eclective Boutique at 705 Lake Ave. offerings include Italian linens, pre-owned and menswear as well as art for the home and locally sourced body care.

Best way to get to downtown Lake Worth Beach and where to park

Lake and Lucerne Avenues lie about half a mile east of Interstate 95 and between 6th Avenue South and 10th Avenue North exits. The main streets are lined with parallel parking spaces, but a vacant one can be hard to find. The one-way side streets are a little more open. Also, watch for free public parking lots.

You can travel the world in a few short blocks with choices of Turkish (Sofa at the corner of Dixie Highway and Lake), Thai and Japanese (Oka at 817 Lake Ave. and Hachi at 809 Lake Ave.), Philippine (Kuyo Henry’s Restobar, 720 Lake Ave.), Peruvian (Victoria’s Pisco Lounge, 806 Lake Ave.), French (Vincent's Bistro French Bakery, 516 Lucerne Ave.) and Florida raw bar (Dave’s Last Resort & Raw Bar, 632 Lake). For a coffee break or snack, drop into South Beach Coffee Co. at 600 Lake anytime — it’s open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the week, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.

Holiday-themed events in downtown Lake Worth Beach

Victorian-garbed carolers will sing you into the holiday spirit and Santa Claus will pay a visit at the city's Christmas tree lighting, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25 at Cultural Plaza, 414 Lake Ave. Return to the plaza from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 when Holidays in Hollywood sets the theme for Lake Worth Beach's holiday parade with floats recalling films of Christmases past.
