What is Polywood?
If you haven’t heard of Polywood, it’s an outdoor furniture brand that’s known for its sustainable designs. Here at Reviewed, we’ve tested Polywood furniture, like Adirondack chairs and outdoor patio sets, and found them to be well-made.
The brand uses its proprietary Polywood lumber for many of its products—the special material is made from recycled high-density polyethylene, the plastic used to make milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles, and other thick containers. By transforming waste plastic into furniture, the brand helps to keep millions of plastic containers out of the landfills each year.
Despite being made from recycled plastic, Polywood has the appearance of real wood, and it’s also weather-resistant and easy to clean. The material is UV-resistant too, meaning the colors won’t fade if left outside in the sun during the summer, and it can withstand being left outside all winter, too.

What does the Martha Stewart by Polywood line include?
For its latest collection, Polywood has partnered with Martha Stewart, America's famous décor and homemaking icon, for a new line of stylish patio furniture, and it offers the best of design and sustainability.

The new Martha Stewart by Polywood line features an assortment of timeless, all-weather outdoor furniture, called the Chinoiserie Collection. It includes porch furniture like rocking chairs and coffee tables, as well as several different dining sets and lounge pieces.
The timeless designs showcase graceful lines and intricate lattice work that were inspired by Martha's love of chinoiserie, a genre of reproduction design dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, and the different pieces can be paired together perfectly to create a cohesive backyard oasis.
The all-weather furniture is available in a variety of colors, including neutrals like white, black, and gray, as well as bolder shades of green and brown. The prices range from $299 for a dining chair to over $5,000 for a full nine-piece bar set, and all the designs are currently available on the Polywood website.
