New Nordstrom Rack to open in Sacramento with a $1,000 gift card sweepstakes and VIP party

A new Nordstrom Rack location is slated to open in Sacramento with special events and incentives throughout the week.

The retail franchise will host the opening celebration of its new store at 8 a.m. on Thursday at 3561 N. Freeway Blvd. in North Natomas with free tote bags for the first 500 visitors, food, music and a $1,000 gift card sweepstakes. Doors open at 9 a.m., about 15 minutes after the gift card drawing.

Customers can shop for designer and brand clothes, shoes and accessories for up to 70% off inside the newest store in the Promenade at Sacramento Gateway shopping center.

RSVP TO THE VIP PARTY

Nordstrom Rack will soft launch its newest Natomas location a couple of days before the opening with an exclusive shopping party from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Customers who reserve a spot at the event will be able to shop the merchandise before the opening with two additional guests. To get in, fill out an online form with your name, number and email.

The celebration continues on Friday with more music, photos and giveaways. No RSVP is needed.
