Taraji P. Henson took to Instagram on Jan. 29 to officially announce the launch of her affordable haircare brand. The brand, titled TPH by Taraji, is sold exclusively at Target. All of the products in the line, which are made with salon-quality ingredients, range from $9.99 to $14.99. According to Henson, the haircare line was born from her own need to nurse her scalp back to health . She had experienced constant irritation from using weaves and wigs on-set and during press days. The line's key product, the Master Cleanse scalp wash, was formulated as a result and made Henson realize she was “onto something”. She then expanded the idea into an 18-product line which Henson says is suitable for all hair types. "It's for everybody because I've worn every kind of hair … I wanted it to be all-inclusive, that's my fan-base"
