WESTLAKE, Ohio (WJW) — Police in Westlake said they arrested a woman shoplifting for placing 11 items in her purse that she didn’t pay for.

Guardians confirm agreement with Diamond Sports

Police said they received a call from an employee of the Market District grocery store at Crocker Park reporting a shoplifting in progress Thursday.

A 67-year-old woman was inside the store “stuffing Red Bull into her purse,” police said.

According to Westlake police, “officers arrived and confronted the Westlake resident who had not paid for the 11 cans (Red Bull).”

The shoplifter was arrested and charged with theft, police said.
