Shoppers win big in Santa Cash drawing

Dec. 13—Showing up for Saturday's big Santa Cash giveaway at the Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs entertainment complex was the final step for three lucky winners who walked away with total winnings of $14,500.

Additional online winners are now being posted.

Chamber officials said it took five drawings out of the big hopper before the final three winners were identified. Winners have to be present at the drawing to win the three top prizes.

The big $10,000 Santa Cash check, sponsored by the casino, was won by Mary Whitefield. Jenny and Aaron Spinks walked away with $2,500, sponsored by Helt Heat and Air, and Natasha Harold won a $2,000 check sponsored by Suburban Chevrolet. The claimed winning tickets were from 10Box Cost Plus and Solid Rock Realtors.

Now, area shoppers with tickets can claim additional cash prizes online if their numbers are posted.

The first ticket, No. 2886071, for a $1,000 check, issued to a lucky Reasor's shopper, has been drawn. This prize was made possible by Baker Hughes.

The online winner has until Monday, Dec. 18, at 8 a.m. to claim the money. Take the ticket to the Chamber office at 419 W. Will Rogers Blvd. This ticket is was issued to a Reasor's shopper.
