Congratulations to Carmel's Izzy Shepherd on being voted Player of the Week for Dec. 12-17! The sophomore scored 28 points (9-of-16 shooting) with three rebounds, three steals and an assist in an overtime loss to Lawrence Central.
Here is a look at the top performers from the past two weeks.

Lauren Bear, Tri-West
The sophomore shined against Lafayette Central Catholic on Dec. 20, pouring in 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting. She also logged six steals, two rebounds and an assist.
Sammie Bolding, Eastern Hancock
Bolding picked up eight steals, two assists, a block and nine points in a win over Monroe Central on Dec. 27.
Olivia Brown, Hamilton Southeastern
The senior Akron commit had nine assists and eight steals vs. Cathedral on Dec. 20, then 12 assists and a couple steals vs. Carroll (Fort Wayne). She returned with 11 assists and 10 steals over her first two games after Christmas. Brown totaled 31 points with just nine turnovers over the four games.
Jaycianna Clark, Herron
A 5-8 junior Clark had back-to-back double-doubles with 15 points and 21 rebounds against Horizon Christian on Dec. 19, and 16 points and 22 rebounds against Central Christian Academy on Dec. 21. She also posted two steals and four assists. She is averaging 15.7 rebounds per game for Herron, which returns to action Jan. 6 at Park Tudor.
Addison Davis, Danville
The sophomore scored 18 points on 9-of-12 shooting vs. Frankfort on Dec. 27, then notched 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting against Greensburg. She totaled seven assists, nine rebounds, seven steals and two blocks across the two games.
Holly Galyan, Martinsville
The 5-6 senior bookended a four-game event with 24 points vs. Loogootee and 11 points vs. Owen Valley. She finished the event with 48 points and 10 3-pointers.
Isabella Gizzi, New Palestine
Gizzi scored 34 points on 10 field goals and 11 free throws vs. Roncalli on Dec. 30. She had 26 points in a win over Plainfield earlier in the day, and 26 points against Lawrence Central on Dec. 20.

Layla Gold, Cathedral
The senior recorded 29 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and a block vs. HSE, then came back nine days later with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists vs. Ben Davis. Gold is averaging 23 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
Sydney Goodin, Bethesda Christian
Goodin put together a nice doubleheader on Dec. 27 with 18 points vs. Western and 20 points vs. Eastern. She shot 44% for the day and totaled nine rebounds. She had seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks against Covenant Christian the next day.
Avery Gordon, Brownsburg
The sophomore scored 30 points on 14-of-21 shooting in a 64-47 win over Franklin, tallied 10 against Zionsville then dropped 22 on Lawrence North to wrap up 2022. Gordon also had 15 rebounds (10 offensive) against the Grizzly Cubs, and six total blocks over the two-week stretch.
Taylor Guess, Ben Davis
Guess went for 26 points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks against Roncalli, and delivered the go-ahead basket in the final seconds (more on the dramatic finish below). Guess poured in 13 points in a 53-42 win over Cathedral on Dec. 29.
Holli Hendrix, HomeSchool
The 5-4 junior guard totaled 23 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and two assists over two games the week of Dec. 19. She had 15 points, four steals and six rebounds against Cincinnati HomeSchool on Dec. 20.
Sydney Horton, Roncalli
The senior scored an efficient 26 points on 9-for-12 shooting (6-for-7 from 3). She rounded out her line with six rebounds and an assist, then totaled 37 points at the Plainfield Winter Classic with 22 points against Greensburg and 15 vs. New Palestine in the final.
Laila Hull, Zionsville
Hull followed an 18-point effort vs. Eastern with 23 points vs. Brownsburg and 22 vs. Columbus East (double-doubles in both games. She had 29 rebounds, seven assists, seven steals and four blocks across the three games.
Cece Mitchell, Southport
Quite the three-game run for the Southport senior: 22 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks vs. Heritage Christian, 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block vs. Lawrenceburg, and 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals vs. Salem. She's averaging around 13 points per game for the Cardinals, who are 8-6.
Emery Newlin, Monrovia
The sophomore had the rare points-steals double-double vs. Eminence with 17 points and 10 steals. She also notched seven rebounds, five assists and a block in the 58-40 victory. Newlin recorded eight points, four assists, five steals and two blocks in a win over Indiana Deaf on Dec. 20.
Josie Origer, Roncalli
Origer was 1-for-1 with 3 points vs. Ben Davis on Dec. 21 ... but that one bucket came from half-court at the buzzer to lift the Royals to a 59-58 win. It was every bit as cool as it sounds. What a moment for the senior.

Jordan Patterson, University
Patterson drilled a trio of 3-pointers as part of a 14-point effort in a 75-34 win over Chatard on Dec. 31. It was University's first game in four weeks.

Anna Thompson, Bishop Chatard
The senior scored 20 points, pulled in five rebounds and dished out three assists in a come-from-behind win over Evansville North.
Meredith Tippner, Noblesville
Tippner totaled 27 points, 21 rebounds, five assists and six steals before Christmas at the Limestone Classic, then notched 41 points, 24 rebounds, eight assists and six steals over two games at the Hall of Fame Classic. Her break was highlighted by a 23-point, 15-rebounds, five-assist, three-steal effort in a double-overtime win over Bedford North Lawrence at New Castle.

Alycia Triplett, Fishers
Triplett finished with 19 points, six rebounds, four steals, an assist and a block in a win over Jeffersonville. She added eight points, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks against Carroll on Dec. 30.
Whitney Warfel, Pendleton Heights
The senior recorded her third 20-point performance of the season against Yorktown on Dec. 21, collecting 20 points on 9-of-18 shooting. She added 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in the 63-45 victory.
