Show Support For Healthcare Workers: Send 'Pizza Care Pack'

TEMECULA, CA — Locals seeking a unique way to thank those toiling on the frontlines of the coronavirus crisis can send a Pieology "Pizza Care Pack" to the hardworking doctors, nurses, medical staff and first responders.

And the love and support doesn't have to stop there: The care packs, launched today by the pizzeria, also can be sent to police and fire stations or even friends and family, who may need a moral boost during these trying times.

Founded in 2011 in Orange County, Pieology has locations nationwide with 69 in California, including in Beaumont at 1620 E 1st St., at 18310 Collier Ave. in Lake Elsinore, at Town Center Marketplace at 30075 Haun Road in Menifee, Perris Marketplace at 1870 North Perris Blvd., in Rancho Mirage at 42500 Bob Hope Drive, and in Temecula at 26460 Ynez Road.

The Pieology care package, which serves four to six people and is priced at $50, includes four, 11.5-inch, build-your-own artisan, thin pizzas, one "Ooey Gooey Cheese Bread" and a family-size dessert.

Orders can be placed online here. But there does need to be a recipient present, and the recipient’s email address is required, as the person will get a message that they were gifted a Pieology Care Pack, a company spokesperson said. Those interested in sending to a medical facility or a police and fire station are advised to contact the hospital administration or a staff person to get a contact name and email address.

Pieology also has started a COVID-19 Relief Fund, where 100 percent of proceeds raised will go to aid those affected by the coronavirus. Read more on the fund here.

"As small business owners and members of the community, we are committed to doing everything we can to continue serving our guests, our team members and our communities," the company said.

Pieology offers wide-ranging options for crusts, sauces, toppings and "after-bake" sauces for its pizzas, along with salads and sweets. Visit the business' website for more information on home delivery and takeout options.
