LIZZIE KNIGHT: "AP ShowBiz Minute." Actor, Wilford Brimley, who starred in "Cocoon," has died. He was 85. Brimley worked his way up from movie stunt rider to an indelible character actor who brought gruff charm and sometimes menace to a range of films that included "The Natural," and "The Firm."
Tamar Braxton is thanking her boyfriend for saving her life after her hospitalization last month. Braxton posted a lengthy message on social media late Saturday that paid tribute to David Adefeso being her angel on earth. She said she's grateful for Adefeso who found her lifeless in their home saying, it couldn't have been easy for him. The R&B singer didn't provide details about her hospitalization.
Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, was discharged from a Mumbai hospital on Sunday after undergoing three weeks of treatment for the coronavirus. His actor son, Abhishek Bachchan, who's still in hospital with the virus, said in a tweet that his father has tested negative and will rest at home. Both were hospitalized on July 11.
