Series recap: The Jumbo Shrimp dropped four of six games against the Durham Bulls, the team's second consecutive series loss at 121 Financial Ballpark. The coming series in Pennsylvania will start a run of 12 consecutive road ballgames for the Jumbo Shrimp.

Highlight: Highlights were few and far between for the Jumbo Shrimp in the Durham

series, but Joe Dunand contributed one big hit on Thursday after his return from a Miami Marlins call-up. Dunand hit a solo home run in the fourth inning that helped Jacksonville pull away from Durham in a 6-3 victory.

Crustacean sensation: The Jumbo Shrimp were up and down at the plate in the Durham series, but when good things happened, Lewin Diaz generally wasn't too far away. The 25-year-old first baseman from the Dominican Republic homered twice and

contributed seven RBI in the six-game set.

On deck: Affiliated with the New York Yankees, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre has found the going tough in 2022. They're near the rear with a .366 winning percentage, scoring an International League-worst 150 runs. Yet The RailRiders' roster includes four of the Yankees' top-10 prospects, including shortstop Oswald Peraza (.200, 4 HR, 13 RBI) and the pitching trio of Luis Gil (0-3, 7.89), Ken Waldichuk (4-0, 1.32) and Hayden Wesneski (1-4, 2.31). They also field several experienced big leaguers, including former Atlanta  Braves All-Star outfielder Ender Inciarte; veteran pitcher Shelby Miller, another former Braves All-Star now adapting to a bullpen role; Miguel Andujar, who  crushed 27 home runs with the Yankees as Rookie of the Year runner-up in 2018; and utility man Derek Dietrich, noted for nearly a decade in MLB with the Marlins and other clubs.

Probable pitchers Tuesday: To be determined.
