Sicklerville man slain at Camden shopping center
CAMDEN - A Sicklerville man was fatally shot Sunday in a daylight attack at a shopping center here.
Kadeem McBride, 31, was gunned down shortly before 4 p.m. on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
The shooting occurred outside a strip center that's a short distance from a Camden County Police Department substation on the opposite side of the highway.
McBride was taken to an area hospital, where he died around 7:10 p.m.
Merchants at the largely vacant shopping center, which includes a Citi Trends clothing store and a pizza shop, declined to comment Monday.
