- As Governor Cuomo faces criticism and questions over how he handled nursing homes at the beginning of the pandemic, a new poll shows, overall, New Yorkers give him high marks for his response to the event, the whole pandemic itself.

According to a new poll by Siena College, 61% of voters approve how the governor has addressed the pandemic. 67% say he's communicated well, except on nursing home deaths. 55% of voters think he could have done a better job of making all data about COVID deaths in nursing homes public.
