Sierra winter weather attracts visitors in advance of major snowstorm

People took advantage of the wintery conditions in the Sierra on Sunday to get outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. "We were hoping because of the little rain we saw last week there would be snow," said Veronika Singleton of Hayward, on a road trip with friends and family to Reno. "I got my girls all their own pair of UGGs." The falling snow was a welcome reprieve from the gloom of 2020 for many children and their parents. See more in the video above.
