Silent Witness viewers notice something about the police officers
Silent Witness is known for its forensic and often chilling material, and now, according to some viewers of the show... arsehole detectives!
Tonight's (February 4) episode of the drama series certainly offered meat to the bones of this argument, with many lead characters faced with rude and insulting police officers.
Just attempting to follow their usual job responsibilities, the scientists came under heavy scrutiny by the law, and fans were having none of it.

Below, we've plucked some of the best responses to tonight's overwhelming rudeness, with one person complaining: "Ok good cop bad cop women is getting on my nerves."
Eagle-eyed viewers may even recognise the especially-cutting D.I. Briggs from a beloved cult comedy – she played the small role of Natalie in Peep Show.

I love #SilentWitness, but the arrogance and angry acting the police show up with each week really does my head in! It just ends up irritating me, but I can’t stop watching because I love the Lyell 🤦🏻♀️ #overacting

Meanwhile, actress Emilia Fox has explained why she thinks the show has kept viewers consistently compelled since it debuted 23 years ago.
"Good writing, that's what it's about," she said during an appearance on Sunday Brunch.
"And picking subjects which are current and keeping it mixed up with having a thriller, or having an action one, or having one which is very, very medically led."
Silent Witness continues tomorrow (February 5) at 9pm on BBC One.
