Silver Alert canceled for 73-year-old man in Gaston County
A Silver Alert has been canceled for a 73-year-old missing man in Gaston County, officials said.
William Boyd Pope, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was last seen on Dewey Kiser Road in Bessemer City.
A Silver Alert was initially issued Monday night for Pope, but was canceled early Tuesday morning.
