Silver Alert Issued For Missing 78-Year-Old​ Man

Silver Alert has been issued for a 78-year-old man who was reported missing from Aspen Hill on Dec. 24.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 78-year-old Aspen Hill resident who shows signs of dementia.

Montgomery County Police said William James Kelley of the 7000 block of Bardot St. last left his home Monday at 1:30 p.m. to meet family in Alexandria, Va. Kelley was driving a red 2016 Chevrolet Camaro with Maryland tags: ML0566.

Kelley is described as a six-foot, 165-pound African American male with brown eyes and gray hair. Police said Kelley's family is concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Kelley’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 911.
