A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Matthews woman who was reported missing Thursday evening.

Virginia Mullis, 83, was found safe on Friday, according to Matthews police.

Mullis was last seen wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with little flowers on the back of it black pants, light-colored shoes, and has a red coat with her that she wears when she’s cold.

No other information was given.
