Simu Liu took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a sweet birthday message for his girlfriend, Allison Hsu.

About the post: Liu, 34, posted nine photos featuring Hsu, 27. In his post’s caption, the “Barbie” actor professed his love for his partner, calling her “the girl who truly does it all.”

“She inspires me in her passion for music (well… one musician specifically), teaches me how to balance a busy and chaotic schedule with grace, and touches me in how she cares for each and every person in her life,” Liu wrote.

“Most importantly, she shows me that the people we love are always worth fighting for,” he continued. “I love you to pieces babe. Whether we’re on another crazy trip to god-knows-where for who-knows-what, or just binging our way through friends at home, there’s simply nothing better than holding your hand. Thanks for never giving up on me. This guy on the screen is coming back home to you every night.”

After his love life made headlines late last year, Liu told People in an interview that Hsu is “a badass, she’s a fighter, and she’s very, very passionate about all things in life, her work, her job, and her other things. And that’s a language that I speak very well, and I am happy to see where it goes.”
