Singapore cenbank not considering off-cycle monetary easing - statement

SINGAPORE, June 27 (Reuters) - The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is not considering loosening monetary policy off-cycle and will assess its options at its next policy review in October, it said in a statement on Thursday.

"MAS is not considering an off-cycle easing," the central bank said.

"MAS will be carefully monitoring developments, and will take them into account in its assessment of the inflation and growth outlook for the Singapore economy at its next monetary policy review in October." (Reporting by Joe Brock Editing by Robert Birsel)
