Grammy winners Faith Evans and Stevie J. have officially closed the book on their marriage — just ahead of what would have been their fifth anniversary.

The 49-year-old record producer, born Steven Aaron Jordan, and the “Love Like This” singer, 50, executed a marital status agreement, according to court documents obtained by ET. The terms were not disclosed.

The divorce was due to “irreconcilable differences,” with documents saying “there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling, a further waiting period, or any other means whatsoever.”

The former couple said “I do” in a Las Vegas hotel room in July 2018. Stevie J., who previously produced for Evans’ late husband, the Notorious B.I.G., filed for divorce in November 2021.

On the heels of the filing, beach pictures of the two led to speculation that their love might be on the mend. That December, Evans told ET she believed her other half “will be here for the holidays.”

Then, in honor of Mother’s Day 2022, the Stevie J. took to Instagram to publicly apologize to Evans.

“I’ve hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world,” he said, adding that he “learned my lesson and I NEVER want to live without you because God knows I’m a better man with you.”

In addition to pledging his love to the mother of four, Stevie J. pleaded with her to forgive him and allow him “to rebuild our trust.”

The marriage was the third for Evans, who after Biggie, tied the knot with record executive Todd Russaw. Stevie J. has only been married to Evans, though he shares six children with five women.
