Three things are required for a great Super Bowl commercial: food, Busch Light and singer Sarah McLachlan.
One of Iowa’s favorite beer brands teamed up with the ’90s singer for a spoofy ad about finding shelter in the great outdoors.
“Three things are required in the great outdoors: food, drink and shelter,” Busch Light's mascot, the "Busch Guy," says in the ad.
The 30-second spot features McLachlan, an animal rights advocate, and her song “Angel," spoofing her well-known animal advocacy ads that also feature her ballad.
“Hello, I’m Sarah McLachlan. For just dollars a day, you can help helpless animals find shelter,” MacLachlan says as “Angel” plays in the background. “Wrong shelter, Sarah,” Busch Guy says to McLachlan. “Also, that’s a wolf.”
