“Singin’ in the Rain” showing in Ozark

OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — At the Flowers Center in Ozark they will be “Singin’ in the Rain” when the romantic comedy hits the stage.

Coming on WDHN daytime was Dale County Theater Director Margie Benson to talk about the production and how the theater will be dropping rain during the performances.

32 years ago, the Flowers Center put on “Singin’ in the Rain” and now the magic is returning.

Kids from Carroll, Ariton, G.W. Long, and Dale County High Schools are all part of the production.

Benson, who’s been doing this program since 1983, was asked about working with kids and she said, “When they find out that they can do things that they never thought that’s the amazing part, and that’s the part I love.”
