New single-family homes planned for Croydon. Here's where the developers wants to build

A currently undeveloped tract in Croydon may soon house six new single-family homes.

Levittown-based CLC Contractors, Inc. plans on building the homes at Pennsylvania and Girard avenues, which is already a residential neighborhood off State Road. The land, which backs up to Route 13, is currently subdivided into six plots but otherwise undeveloped.

Pennsylvania and Girard avenues sits in a R-3 residential zone district. Both streets include a mix of ranch-style and two-story family homes.

Engineer Matt McHugh, representing CLC Contractors, told the Bristol Township Planning Commission during the last week the plots will measure 6,500 square feet. Altogether, the new development will occupy roughly one acre. The commission OK's the plan and sent it to Township Council for review.

The potential prices of each home isn't yet known.

CLC Contractors would extend Pennsylvania Avenue due to the installation of storm water management facilities.

To address possible flooding issues, each of the new homes will have individual seepage beds that drain out to inlets on Pennsylvania Avenue.
