Siren Wails in Laurel, Mississippi, Following Tornado Warning

Sirens wailed in Laurel, Mississippi, on Wednesday, March 17, as the area was placed under a tornado warning by the National Weather Service.

At 12:20 pm, the National Weather Service’s Mobile office tweeted that a tornado was moving through Mississippi’s Wayne County. Drivers reported a possible tornado shortly before on Highway 84, which passes between Laurel and Wayne County.
