A six-year-old girl from Detroit, Michigan, celebrated Black History Month by delivering an educational impersonation of hometown superstar Diana Ross.

Video filmed by Kenya White shows her daughter Rosie paying homage to the diva. Rosie is heard singing one of Ross’s number-one hits, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.

“She not only loves to learn about the women she pays homage to, but she watches videos of the specific woman to learn her mannerism, voice, or walk,” White told Storyful. “She loved Diana Ross because she knew she would get to swing her hair and look amazing.” Credit: Kenya White via Storyful

ROSIE WHITE: I'm Diana Ross, a Motown legend from Detroit, Michigan! Hello, Motown! I was in the group called The Primettes, later changed to The Supremes. I left The Supremes for a solo career because I was outstanding! By 1980s, I had sold over 100 million records. I'm one of the most greatest female artists in history. Look it up in the Guinness Book. I was the first Black woman to co-host the Oscars. (SINGING) Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Ain't no mountain high enough. Me, Diana Ross. (SINGING) Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
