Six shot dead in Czech hospital attack

An attacker shot dead six people sitting in a hospital waiting room in the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Police said on Twitter they were still searching for the assailant, who opened fire at close range at the University Hospital in the northeastern city of Ostrava.

They posted a photo of a suspect but gave no name.

The health minister confirmed six people were killed in the incident that occurred just after seven a.m..

There was no immediate word on a possible motive.
